in Church Ceremony
At 2 p. m. on Thursday, Ap
ril 1, Miss . Thelma Morgan,
daughter of Mrs. Ruth Mor
gan, became the bride of Geo
! rge G. Hendrick, son of Mr.
I and Mrs. F. W. Hendrick.
The double-ring ceremony
was performed at the Presby
terian church in O’Neill. Rev.
Ward Smith officiated before
the altar decorated with ped
estal baskets of red roses. Mrs.
Howard Manson played the nu
pital music and accompanied
Miss Bonnie Jean Harmon who
was the vocal soloist.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her brother-in-law
Fred Colfack, jr., of Ewing.
She wore a dusty pink wool
suit with a gardenia corsage.
Her maid-of-honor. Miss Jean
Rakowski, of Norfolk, wore a
beige suit with a Sib< rian iris
corsage.
Sam Fuhrer, of O’Neill, ser
ved as best man.
Following the ceremonv. a
reception was held at the Hen
drick home for about tiO rela
tives and friends. Mrs. M. V.
Landreth, of Page, sister of
the bridegroom, baked the 3
tiered wedding cake w'hich with
white tapers and spring flowers
was used on the table. Miss
Leona Hamilton, Miss Bonnie
Jean Harmon, Mrs. Don Hynes
and Miss Edwina Jones served
ice cream and cake.
The bride is a graduate of
the O’Neill high school with the
class of 1945. For the past 3
years she has been employed
at the Consumers Public Pow
er District. The bridegroc. -
