Chet Carsten and boys, of PRESBYTERIAN YOUTHS ON TRIP Ewing Group Inspects Boys’ Town; Meet ‘Neighbors’ EWING — Members of the youth group of the Ewing United Presbyterian church made a trip to Omaha on Fri day to attend a youth rally at the Central United Presbyteri an church. Young people from Omaha, Murray, North Bend and Ewing attended the rally. Speakers were the Rev. St. Paul Epps, of Los Angeles, Calif., who is in charge of the new mission in Bel Vue Village, of Los Angeles, and the Rev. Chester Yeates, di rector of youth work of the United Presbyt< rian church. Young people who attended from Ewing were: Sally Chris ton, Phyllis Fry, Alton and Verl Gunter, Beverly and Rob ert Montgomery, Doris Hender son, Betty and Louise Shrader. At the meeting, Phyllis Fry vas elected treasurer of the Nebraska Youth Group of the Jnited Presbyterian church. The group stopped at Boys’ rown and had an inspection af that famous institution. In the souvenier shop they discov ered a neighbor. They made ihemselves known to Miss Ma mie Cullen, who used to live it O’Neill. One girl. Louise Shrader, added "color" to the journey by contracting a mild case of pink eye. The group was accompanied by the pastor, Rev. C. Donald Vogel. They returned to Ew ing Saturday evening.
