Monday on business.
Bob Pease was in O’Neill on
Sunday and took a flying les
son. He has now had his first
solo flight.
Miss Marjorie Samms left
last Thursday for Sylvia, Kans.
She was met there by her
uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Samms, and they left Mon
day for Broomall, Pa., by car.
Miss Samms went as far as
Kansas on the bus. The Samms
will spend a couple of weeks
in Broomall visiting Marjorie’s
parents. Broomall is Miss
Samms’ home. Marjorie likes
Nebraska’s climate and plans !
to return this Fall.
Ray and Bob Pease spent
last Thursday afternoon at the
home of Conrad Frickel, jr.,
help Mr. Frickel work on a
power lawnmover which he is
making for the Peases.
Mr. Schwede is wiring the
Algot Hammerberg home for
electricity. The Hammerbergs
say they are hopeful that the
REA will come through before
too long, and if it doesn’t they
may use the wiring some oth
er way.
