Albert L. Loving, of Omaha,
came February 25 and has
been conducting meetings at
the Latter Day Saints church.
There was an all-day meeting
Sunday with a basket dinner.
M. L. Harkins was a visitor
last week in Sioux City and
Storm Lake, la.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Smith, Mrs. Anna Smith and
Mrs. Melvin Smith, of Page,
were callers in Sioux City
Friday.
Miss Vivian Stevens, who is
employed at Norfolk,, spent
the weekend with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stevens.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A.
Tompkins, Lucille and Roger
were called to Utica Sunday
by the death of Mrs. Tompkins’
grandmother, Mrs. Clara Al
len, which occurred on Satur
day. The funeral services
were held Tuesday. Mr. and
Mrs. L. R- Tompkins, who
were in Omaha at the time,
went to Utica for the funeral.
All came home Tuesday.
James Sobotka took his
wife and daughter, Mary Lou,
to Grand Island last Thursday
where they took the train for
Buhl, Ida. They will visit Mrs.
Sobotka’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Stark, for a few
days. i

February 24 after spending a
month in California.

Jack Lewis, of Bayard, ar
rived in Inman last Thursday
night to spend the rest of the
week with friends and witness
the basketball tournament at
Neligh. Jack formerly lived
here and graduated from In
man high school with the class
of 1939. This is his first visit
here since being discharged
from the Army.

and Veldeen, of Dorsey, were
guests February 22 in the
home of Mrs. Pinkerman’s
cousin, and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth Coventry.
