Nfhraska is bursting her scams electrically due to increased use of
service in homes, farms, firms and factories. New and expanding
industry and, in fact, greater utilization of electrical benefits on the
part of all, have brought electrical consumption to an all time high.
For example, customers of ('onsumers Public Power District are
using eighty percent more electricity today than they did ten years
ago. Everything possible is being done to increase and expand
facilities for serving Nebraska electrically, but due to lingering
wartime shortages not all necessary equipment has been readily
available. More power is coming, however, as soon as manufacture
and construction can be accomplished.
