The marriage of Miss Rose
Marie Hevey, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harrison Hovey, of
Stuart, and Archie Bright, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Bright,
of O'Neill, took place Sundav
afternoon at the home of the
bride’s parents in Stuart >Rev.
Lloyd Mullis, of O’Neill, per
formed the 4 p. m. ceremony.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
floor-length" gown of white ny
lon with a square neckline,
long, full sleeves, fitted-bodice,
and a full skirt The floor
length veil was held in place
by a beaded tiara. She cMried
a bouquet of red roses and wore
a gold locket, a gift of the
bridegroom.
Miss Batty Jean Murray, of
Neiigh, was the maid-of-honor,
and she wore an aqua brocaded
dress and -carried a bouquet of
yellow and orange dahlias.
Ardell Bright, a brother of
the bridegroom, served as b s
attendant.
A reception for 55 guests tal
lowed the ceremony.
The bride was graduated from
Stuart high school in 1946 ani
since that time has been em
ployed in the Livestock Nation
al bank in Sioux City.
The bridegroom graduated
from O’Neill high school in 1941
and attended Wayne State
Teachers’ college. He served in
♦ the Navy for lour years dur
ing World War III.
After a Short wedding trip
the couple will make their home
in O’Neill where Mr. Eright is
employed.

The bride’s gown of white
satin had a net yoke with a
berilia of antique rosepoint lace,
long sleeves, and a three-yard
train. Her fingertip veil fell
from a crown ot orange blos
soms. Her bouquet was white
gar nias and carnations.
Miss Shirley Ann Sims, the
maid-of-honor, wore a moss
green gown with a square neck
line, three - quarter - length
sleeves, and a lull skirt with a
bustle. She carried a bouquet
of yellow chrysanthemums.
The bride’s mother chose a
■wine crepe gown and a corsage
of talisman roses. Mrs, French
wore a gold crepe dress and a
corsage of American beauty
roses.
A reception followed the cer
emony at the church parlors.
When the couple left on the
wedding trip to the Lake of the
Ozarks, the bride wore a light
brown three - piece gabardine
suit with dark brown accessor
ies. After their (return they will
live in Wahoo.
The bride is a graduate of the
University of Minnesota in 1945
and is a labo atory technician.
Dr. French is a graduate of
Page high school and the Uni
versity of Nebraska college o
medicine. During the war he
served as a captain in the Army
medical corps and was sent u.
