New officers for the ensuing year were elected, with Mrs. Thomas Higgins named presi dent; Mrs. Leo Gokie, vice-pres ident; Mrs. Mabel Harman, sec retary and treasurer, and Mrs. Vera Vorce, news reporter. After the business meeting, a social hour followed and the hostess served lunch to the members and guests. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Bessie Wayman on October 22.
