The O’ Neill nine blasted out 24 hits led by Ed Sehmit, who got four hits in six times at bat, including a homerun, triple, double and a single. Danny Helmer turned in a six hit performance for O'Neill. O’ Neill got seven runs in the sec ond and seventn Innings. Each team got eight hits, but errors by the Bristow nine proved their undoing. The hapless Bristow team has yet to win a league game this season. Raymond Sullivan returned Tuesday from Sioux City where he spent two days on business. Mr. and Mrs. Dean C. Reed and daughter, Paula, spent the weekend in Grand Island. They are leaving Saturday for a week's vacation in Estes Park, Colo., and the Black Hills, S. D. Barbara Ann Streeter, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Street er returned Wednesday from Omaha where she visited her aunt, Mrs. J. B. Matthews, for four days. Mr. and Mrs. John Luben and daughter returned to Crawford Monday after having spent two weeks with Mrs. Luben’s par ents, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Russ, and with Mr. Luben’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Luben, of Emmet. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ray re turn Wednesday from Cheyenne, Wyo., where they attended the Frontier days. John L. Brennan and Lt. H. O. Brennan went to Denver, Colo., Saturday. They plan to spend several weeks on the West coast. Miss Barbara Birmingham re turned Monday after spending two weeks visiting Miss Patricia Keiser in Rapid City, S. D. Mrs. Ira George returned Mon day from Canour, S. D.. with her son. Gene Paul; Gene Paul has been in Canour for two months visiting at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Max Eckman. James Golden and Miss Max ine Golden spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Golden. Also visiting at the Golden home were Miss Pa tricia Sanders, Miss Mary T. Sanders, and Vince Erehart, all of Omaha. Miss Hilda Gallagher went to Lacrosse, Wise., Tuesday. She plans to spend several weeks there visiting her brother, Dr. Francis Gallagher, and her un cle, Dr. E. E. Gallagher. Bruce Fangman, of Omaha, ar rived Saturday tc spend several weeks with his aunt, M;s. C. J. Gatz. Mr. and Mrs. A. Neil Dawes went to Lincoln Tuesday to at tend the Methodist church con ference there. They will return i Sunday. Mrs. Sophie Lashmett, of New port, spent the weekend with her daughter, Mrs. D. D. De Bolt. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Asher, of Valentine, spent Sunday in O’Neill visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Asher. Mr. and Mrs. Levi B. Fuller and their son, George, spent Monday in Sioux City.
