i Louis W. Reimer, Jr. Weds in Lincoln Miss Lois Margaret Brown, daughter of Mrs. Helen M. Brown, of Gretna, and Dr. L. HL. Brown, of Denison, la., was married to Louis W. Reimer, jr., son of County Judge and Mrs. Louis R. Reimer, of O'Neill, at 4 p. m. June 9 in the chapel of the First Presbyterian church at Lincoln. Rev. Arthur L. Miller perform ed the double-ring ceremony. Miss -Rosa Marie Harney sang ‘‘Toujours, L’Amour, Toujours” anjJ "Because” before the cere mony. The maid-of-honor was the bride’s sister, Miss Maureeen Brown, who wore an afternoon frock of aqua blue crepe. A small white hat and white ac cessories completed her costume and her bouquet was of pink car nations. Miss Maxine Bull, of Elkhorn, acted as bridesmaid. She wore a pastel grey crepe gown and also wore a white hat with white accessories. She carried a bou quet of red carnations. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride chose for her wedding an afternoon frock of pastel rose colored crepe. Her accessories were white and she wore a hat of white straw. Her bouquet was of white carnations. The bridegroom was attended bv his brother, Henry Reimer, of O’Neill, and by Laverne Baum gard, of Lincoln. A reception was held in tne evening at the home of the bride’s mother for about 60 friends and relatives. The cou ple left on a short wedding trip and on their return will make their home in Lincoln. The bride received a degree from the University of Nebraska on the morning of her wedding day. Mr. Reimer is attending the university at the present time. Myrlen Beckwith Weds i in Church Ceremony Miss Myrllen Beckwith be came the bride of Arthur Ha* ley, of Atkinson, at a double-ring; ceremony Monday at 2 p. m. at the First Presbyterian church • here. The bride, daughter of Mr. and I Mrs. Ralph Beckwith, woie a floor-length gown of satin. She was given in marriage by her father. Mrs. Kasper Harley, sis ter of the bridegroom, was ma tron-of-honor; Miss Phyllis June Seger and Miss Vernice Beck with were bridesmaids. Following the ceremony a re ception was held in the church parlors. Ice cream and cake were served to the bridal party and all the relatives and friends in attendance. Mrs. Harley graduated from O’Neill high school in 1945 and I has taught twro terms in rural districts near here. Mr. Harley graduated at Atkinson in 1937 and he served four years in the Army Air Force. For the past year he has been assisting his father in ranching. He and his bride will reside on the ranch and the elder Harleys plan to re tire. The couple departed for the Black Hills and Yellowstone na tional park on a wedding trip. Miss Marian Bosn. Bride-Elect, Honored The Catholic Daughters held the last social meetm* until fall Tuesday evening at the Gold en hotel. A miscellaneous shower was given for Miss Ma' ian Bosn, who will be married June 23 to James Harty. Some of the members surprised Miss Bosn by present ing a mock wedding. Mrs. Anthony Stanton was high, and Mrs. John Kersen brock, low, in pitch. A dinner was served. Miss Bosn Feted — Miss Marian Bosn will be guest-of-honor this evening (Thursday) at a miscellaneous shower given at the home of Mrs. John Kersenbrock, an aunt of the honored guest.
