Derickson of Star, and Arden Laursen of Venus were united in marriage at the Creigh ton Methodist church Jan. 4, at 2:00 p. m. The single ring cere mony was performed by Rev. J. R. Rayborne, pastor of the Meth odist church. The bride wore a three-piece gold wool suit with brown accessories and the bride groom wore a dark brown suit. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Laursen, brother and sister-in-law of the bride groom. Mrs. Laursen wore a robin egg blue dress and Mr. Laursen a brown suit. The young couple left on a short wedding trip immediatedy after the ceremony. They plan to make their home on a farm in the Venus community.
