ed word from their son, Pvt. Mer
vin Kee, that he is on his way
home from the Philippines. He
has been in the armed forces four
years and never had a furlough
home.
Master Sgt. and Mrs. Francis
Regal and daught r arrived at the
home of his parents. Mr. and Mrs.
James Regal Saturday evening for
a few days visit. M. Sgt. Regal
has received his discharge. He
had been in the army for several
years, most of the time he was in
service he spent in Canada as a

O'Neill Native Dies In
D nver—Funeral Today

| He grew to manhood here and at
| the outbreak of World War I
enlisted in the United Statss
Navy in which he served twenty
sir months. Upon his discharge
from the service he came back to
I O'Neill to be with his parents,
j Mr. and Mrs C. C Millard, Holt
j county pioneers. Ralph cared
for his parents until their passing
three years ago. He then went;
to Denver to make his home with ;
his sister, Mrs. Irvine Hughes.

at Denver.
His condition was critical from
the start, and although he made
a gallant fight and everything
humanly possible was done for his
recovery, he passed away Sun
nay morning, September 30.
Ralph leaves a host of O’Neill
friends to mourn his passing be

Hughes, Denver, Col.; and one
brother, Fred Millard, of Omaha.
The body was shipped to this
city and funeral services were
held from the Methodist Church
