BRIEFLY STATED
The small grain harvest in the
county is aboi|t completed and,
on the whole it is one of the best
crps ever raised in the cunty,
and the quality is number one.
Wheat has been running around
30 bushels per acre, barley from
25 to 30 and oats as high as 65
bushels. There were many oat
fields that averaged better than
fifty bushels per acre. Now give
u sa good corn crop and we’ll be
happy.
Mrs. Frank Valla returned
Tuesday morning from Salt Lake
City, Utah, where sihe had spent
several weeks visiting at the
home of her daughter, Mils
Dorothy Valla.
Still, we’re not going to
blame anybody else—

Lt. George Homer Pace, who was
killen in an airplane crash near
Miami, Florida. He is the son
of George Pace, former residents
of this county.
