A beautiful wedding took; place
at St. Mary’s church, Osmond,
Nebr., Wednesday morning, No
cember 29, at 9 o’clock, when
George Luebbers, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Luebbers, of Osmond, and
Miss Evelyn Nissen. daughter of
Mr. and Mi's. P. E. Nissen. Page,
were married at a nuptial low
mass, the Rev. H. Stahl, pastor
of St. Mary's church officiating,
using the double ring ceremony.
The bride was charming in a
white floor length dress with
finger tip veil and corsage of roses.
She carried her prayer book and
rosary. Her locket was a gift
of the bridegroom.
Attending her were the bride
groom’s sister, Miss Sylvia
Luebbers as maid of honor. The

The bridegroom was attended
by his twin brother. Malt, as best

Robert Nissen.
Fillowing the ceremony a wed
ding dinner was served at the
home of the bridegroom’s parents.
The bride graduated from the
Page High school in the class of
1943. She attended Wayne col
lege and taught in a rural school
south of Page for one year.
The bridegroom is a seaman,
second class in the U. S. Navy
and is stationed at Farragut,
Idaho. He graduated from the
Osmond High school with the
class of 1943.

ceived a letter Tuesday from their
son, Pfc. Dale Stauffer, who is a
prisoner of war in Germany.
The letter was written September
1, and is the first letter they have
