PAGE ITEMS Stevens - E merson Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Stevens re ceived the announcement of the marriage of their daughter, Miss Vennette Stevens of Bellvidere, Illinois, to John C. Emerson of Rockford, Illinois. They were married April 20 at St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Emerson is well known in this community. She was a graduate of the Page High school with the class of 1939. She had spent her entire life around this community until about three years ago when she went to Bellvidere, 111., to work in a defense plant. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson will reside at 322 North First street, St. Rockford, 111. Mrs. Jerome Allen entertained the Bid or Bye Club at four tables of bridge last Thursday | afternoon.
