Mrs. Elizabeth Donohoe died in

years old the family moved to
Ames, Iowa, where they remained
for one year and then came to

this county had been her home
ever since. On May 1, 1906, she
was united in marrige to Thomas
F. Donohoe, son of one of the
pioneer families of the county.
To this union three sons were
born, who, with her brothers and
sisters, are left to mourn the pass

mother and sister. The children
are: Joseph T., Fremont, Nebr.;
Sgt. Gerald, Camp Williston,
Nevada; Clarence V., O’Neill.
Her brothers are: John, Joe and
Walter, O’Neill; and her sisters,
Mrs. J. B. Donohoe and Mrs. P.
V. Hickey, O’Neill.
Mrs. Donohoe was a charming
woman and had a host of friends
in this city, where she was well
known and universally admired
for her many fine womanly qual

family tender sincere condolences
to the sorrowing relatives in their
hour of sorrow.

By New Plan For Election ^
of Consumers Directors
REPRESENTATION on the Board of Directors of Con
sumers Public Power District was assured for all dis
tricts in the area served when legislation pajsed by the re
cent Nebraska Legislature became effective on August 29.
THE law now provides for seven members on Consumers
f Board, each to be elected in the future, by voters of
the respective districts established by the legislature. Not
more than one director shall be elected from any district.
WITH the growth of Consumers Public Power District
to a state-wide institution, a plan which would pro
vide state-wide representation on Consumers Board was
sought by the Directors. Under the new arrangement,
future directors will be elected from the various election
districts as terms of present directors expire—thus provid
ing representation from each of the seven districts and
assuring a state-wide viewpoint in determining policies of
the state-wide system.
