Distribution of these cards will continue until about June 5th, Raymond S. McKeough, regional OPA administrator, an nounced. ‘‘A total of forty million application cards are being dis tributed throughout the entire na tion,” he said. Chicago will be the mailing center for War Ration Book No. 3 for the states of Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Lake county, Indiana, in which McKeough estimated some 18 million books will be distributed.
