High scores were won by Mrs. F. N. Cronin, Mrs. Edward Campbell and Miss Helen Biglin. The Catholic Daughters of America had a social meeting at the Golden Hotel Tuesday even ing. Mrs. Ambrose Rohde was chairman. The evening was spent playing cards and following that lunch was served at the M. j and M. Mrs. Charles Mullen won high score. Bill Kubitschek arrived home; Saturday from Omaha, where hej attends Creighton University, to visit his parents, Dr. and Mrs. F. J. Kubitschek, and other relatives and friends. Clarence Hansen, one of the active cattlemen and farmers of the southern part of the county, was a business caller at this of fice last Saturday and ordered The Frontier sent to his address the coming year. Mr. Hansen has been a resident of the county for only one year, coming here from Sioux City, Iowa. _ It has been a little dry the past week, but not as windy as it had been for the three weeks before. Last Saturday we had .17 hund red's of an inch of precipitation, which gives us only .54 for the month of May, which is very low.
