Eagle Creek 4-H Club
The Eagle Creek 4H Club met
at the home of Maxine Mitchell
on Sunday, January 3, with all
members present. Books were
given out by our leaders, and
problems were talked over.
Two new members, Richard
and Bernadette Hynes, were vot
ed into the club.
Donald Stearns was elected to
the office of vice-president, made
vacant by the resignation of Max
ine Mitchell, who will move to a
new home soon.
The next meeting will be held
on March 28 at the home of Ed
ward and Mary Joan Hynes.

Wayne Norman, of O’Neill, was
arrested by Patrolman Meistrel
on December 26, charged with
reckless driving. He pled guilty
and was fined $10 and costs of
$3.10.

with reckless driving. He pled
guilty and was fined $10 and costs

Grattan Township Annual
Meeting
The annual meeting of the elect
ors of Grattan township will be
held in the City Library, in the
City of O’Neill, in said Township,
on Tuesday, January 19, 1943,
commencing at 2 o’clock P. M.,
for the purpose of electing road
overseers for said districts, mak
ing the tax levy for the ensuing
year and transacting any other
business that may lawfully come
