TATE OF OWEN CRONIN,
DECEASED.
To: All persons interested in
said estate, both creditors
and heirs:
You are hereby notified that on
the 13th day of April, A. D„ 1942,
Cecelia T. Hay, petitioner, filed
her petition in the above matter
setting forth among other things
that Owen Cronin, a citizen, resi
dent and inhabitant of Holt
County, Nebraska, died therein,
intestate, in April, 1881, the ex
act day of the month being un
known to the petitioner, and that
at the time of his death he had
made entry on government lands
described as the Southwest Quar
ter of Section Twenty-nine,
Township Thirty North, Range
Eleven, West of the Sixth P., M.,
Holt County, Nebraska, but had
not received patent therefor; that
following his death patent was
issued to Heirs of Owen Cronin,
Deceased; that he left him sur
viving as his sole and only heir
at law, his father, John Cronin;
that Cecelia T. Hay, petitioner, is
now the owner of said real estate
having acquired title thereto
through mesne conveyance from
the above named heir at law of
Owen Cronin, Deceased.
That the prayer of said petition
is that the Court may find and de
termine the time of the death of
Owen Cronin; that he died intes
tate, a resident and inhabitant of
Hojt County, Nebraska;, may find
and determine who are bis heirs
and fix their degree kinship;
may find and determine the right
of descent of the real property
upon which he had made entry but
for which he had not received
patent at the time of his death and
for which patent was issued to
Heirs of Owen Cronin, Deceased;
that John Cronin, father of Owen \
Cronin, was his sole and only'
heir at law and that said real1
estate descended to him; that!
further administration of this said
estate may be dispensed with;|
that there are no debts against his
said estate and that the claims of
all creditors are barred and for
such other and further lelief as
may be just and equitable.
That said matter is set for hear
ing before the County Court of
Holt County, Nebraska, in the
County Court Room in the Court
House in the City of O’Neill, on
the 7th day of May, 1942, at the
hour of ten o’clock A. M., and that
if you fail to appear at said time

thereof.

home Saturday and Mrs. Thomas
remained for a longer visit.
Wilbur Porterfield of Valentine
came Sunday to visit at the home
of his sister and husband, Mr. and
Mrs. Bart Brennan, Mrs. Porter
field and son, Charles, who have
been visiting at the Brennan
home for the past three weeks
