on Wednesday night from Beat
rice, where she teaches, to spend
th Thanksgiving vacation with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E
Moor.

Thanksgiving with the parents

botka. Donald and Marjorie Moor
and Hazel Fraka.
Ruth Jeanette Watson, who at
tends Wesleyan university at Lin
coln, arrived home Wednesday
night to spend the Thanksgiving
vacation with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. I. L. Watson. She re
turned to Lincoln on Sunday, ac
companied by her mother, who mil
spend several days there visiting
her mother, Mrs. Pierson and her
brother Wilbur Chenoweth from
Los Angeles, who gave a concert
in Lincoln Monday night.
Mr, and Mrs. Walter Jacox and
sons, Donald and David, went to
Meadow Grove on Thanksgiving,
where they spent the day with
their daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mi's. Donald Wolf.
The High School Carnival held
in the school auditorium on Nov.
26th, was largely attended and
everyone had a fine time. About
ninety dollars was taken in.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Moor and
daughter, Betty, of Elkhorn, were
guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. E.
Moor on Thanksgiving, also Mr.
and Mrs. Ira Watson and family
were their guests.
Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Tompkins,
Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Tompkins and
little daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Watson and family and Virgil
Tomlinson were guests of Mr. and
Mrs. A. N. Butler on Thanks
giving.
Supt. McClurg and family went
to Atkinson on Thursday, where
a family reunion of the McClurg’s
was held at the Glen McClurg
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Coventry and
daughters Joan and Kay, and Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Tomlinson
went to Chambers on Thanks
giving Day, where a family dinner
was enjoyed at the home of Mr.
and Bill Turner.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pinkerman
and family of Dorsey were guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Coventry
on Thanksgiving.

David City, Mr. and Mrs. Clar
