Hastings
At the present time 25 members
of Holt County Project Clubs are
planning to attend the Nebraska
Home demonstration Council con
retion scheduled in Hastings, June
18, 19, 20.
The Holt County delegation is
planning to attend the convention
in a group on Thursday June 19,
on which day an outstanding pro
gram has been planned. The pro
gram has been planned for home
makers and will include several
national speakers.
Mrs. George Rector, the chair
man of Holt County Project clubs,
will attend the meeting as a voting
delegate.

French returned on Saturday from
Lincoln, where they attend the Uni
versity of Nebraska.
Mrs. Tom Enright and her
daughter, Miss Loretta, left on
Wednesday for Omaha, where they
will visit the balance of the week.
A marriage license was issued on
June 9th to Phillip E. Lee and
Ilien Florence Cary, both of Clear
water by the County Judge.
Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Putman and
son returned on Wednesday from
Hot Spriings, where they been for
the past two weeks.

day to spend a few days visiting
their son, Lyndle and his family.

turned on Saturday from Omaha,
where they spent a few days on

Jimmie Biglin, of Hastings, Neb

at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. J.

Mrs. W. J. Biglin and daughters,
Ruth Ann and Rose Mary and son,
Bill, left on Tuesday for Ames,
Iowa, where Ruth Ann will attend
the summer session of Iowa State.

Miss Nodine Coyne, student at
the University of Nebraska at Lin
coln, returned on Sunday to spend
the summer vacation with her par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Coyne.
Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Johnson and
daughter and Mr. Johnson’s sister,
Mrs. L. George, her son, Tom, of
Omaha, who have been visiting
here, left on Wednesday for Omaha.

byterian Church will meet at the
home of Mrs. C. E. Lundgren on
Thursday afternoon, June 19th.
