Mildred O'Malley spent Sunday at
the home of thvir parents, Mr. and
Mrs. L. W. O'Malley at Chambers.
Bob Mitchell returned the first
of the week from Seattle, Wash.,
to spend a few weeks visting at the
home of his parents.
Misses Josephine Borgelt and
Marie Welsh went to Norfolk Mon
day where they visited friends and
relatives for a few days.
Miss Inez O’Connell left Mon
day for St. Louis, Mo., called there
by the suden death of her sister-in
law, Mrs. Joe O’Connell.
Miss Dorothy Lierwer of Inman
apd Miss Florence Morris of Val
entine were guests of Mrs. Anna
W. McCartney Sunday.
Mr. and Mis. A. E. Spittler went
to Elkhorn, Nebr., Friday to at
tend the wedding of a friend. They
returned Saturday.
Mrs. Tom Quilty went to Omaha
Tuesday to attend the convention
of The Degree of Honor, which is
being held there this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rickley
went to Fullerton Saturday to vis
it her parents. They returned
Monday.
O. H. Heuton of Gliriden, bowa,
came Sunday and is visiting at the

days.

day from Bedford, Iowa, and Ce

League entertained their mothers
to a dinner and afterwards a pro
gram Thursday evening at the
Methodist church.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gatz will leave
Friday for Omaha t.i visit friends
and relatives and also Mr. Gatz
will attend the Fireman's Conven
tion.
Mrs. Pete Hertford and Mrs.
Geo. Milies entertained Circle 1 of
the Presbyterian Church at the
home of Mrs. Hertford Tuesday
afternoon.
