Meeting called order by Chairman. Minutes of previous meeting were read and on motion were approved as read. Mr. Wm. Hasper appeared before Hie Board relative to cleaning and repairing the typewriters in the Jtaeveial county offices. Motion by Matousek, seconded aky Sullivan, that the county of ficers be privileged to have the Meaning and repairing of type writers done by any person meet ing their approval. Carried. The township officers of Green Valley precinct appeared before the Board and again discussed the mat ter of opening the Tasler road, 12:00 Noon, on motion, Board ad journed until 1:00 P. M. J. C. Motion by Matousek, seconded by Sullivan, that the Chambers State Bank, Chambers, Farmers State Bank, Ewing, and the American National Bank, Creighton, be des ignated as County Depositories in an amount not to exceed |5000.00 oath, the security being their mem bership in the Federal Deposit In surance Corporation. Carried. Motion by Matousek, seconded by Gibson, that Holt County Inde pendent he designated to publish the Primary Election Proclamation and list of candidates. Carried. The petition of Matilda KadclilT for cancellation of taxes assessed in error for the years 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923 in the city of Atkinson was presented and read at this meeting. Motion by Matousek, aaconded by Gibson, that prayer of petition be granted by reason of being a duplicate assessment on this property. Carried. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Carson, that Mothers Pension order for Gayle Lines he approved and warrants issued in accordance therewith. Carried. The petition of Ed T. Campbell and W. L. Butler for taxes paid er roneously for year 1939 were read at this meeting. Motion by Matou. sek, . seconded by Sullivan, that prayer of petitions be granted and refund orders be issued in accord ance therewith. Carried. Motion by Carson, seconded by Matousek, that Dr. W. F. Finley be appointed Jail Physician and mem ber of Board of Health for year 1940 at a salary of $200.00 per year. Carried. Motion by Matousek, seconded by Sullivan, that Gerald E.
