Miss Winker will go to Wahoo and will visit rela tives there for a flew days. The local baseball boys have or- ^ ganized a team for this season and have selected Dick Tomlinson as manager. The first game of the season was played last Sunday at the O’Neill City Park with the Wayman team from west of the city. The game resulted in a vic tory for O’Neill with a score of L3 to 1. The batteries were: Way man, Roy Wayman, Spry and Fern holz; O’Neill, Jeffry, Fox, Honey cutt, Loy and Tomlinson. Another game will be played by the same teams next Sunday after noon, June 4, at the City Park, the game to start at 2 o’clock. The boys say they have the material to making a cracking good ball club and they expect to win many vic tories before the season ends. Local business men are arranging to pur chase suits for them and they will present a nifty appearance when togged out in their new attire. When that Chicago judge ruled that a man may slap his wife, the women were more convinced they should fight for equal rights.
