Charles Luben and son, Donald, drove to Clearwater on business Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Dan O'Connell were dinner guests Thanksgiving at the Cal Tenborg home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fox and family were guests at the Ben Bachman home Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hindman, of Jameson, Nebr., and Rev. Green were dinner guests at the Homer Lowrey home Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Banks, of Wyoming, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Banks and daughters, of Stuart, visited at the Sam Banks home Sunday. Donald Luben returned home Wednesday morning from Belden, where he had been picking corn this fall. Mr. and Mrs. Dever Fox and family were dinner guests at the Robert Fox home Thanksgiving day. Air. and Airs. Henry Patterson left Thursday morning for Peters burg, where they visited Mr. Peter son's sister, Mrs. Ralph Antisdell and where they met other relatives and had dinner. Friday afternoon they went to Albion where they visited Airs. Patterson’s mother, Airs. Clara Lull and then on to Cedar Rapids where they visited other relatives and friends, return ing home Saturday. Miss Helen Anspach visited her parents at Inman a few days last week. Air. and Airs. Ira Livingston and family visited Air. Livingston’s sister, Mrs. Ray Pegdon, of Nor folk on Thanksgiving day. Harry Werner drove to Elgin Monday, taking home Air. and Mrs. Kenneth Werner, who had been visiting here over Thanksgiving. Aliss Clara Cole, of Richmond, Calif., was up from O’Neill Tues day and Wednesday to visit her grandmother, Mrs. Clara M. Cole. Mr. and Airs. Roger Bowen, of Page, visited with William Luben Sr.t Thanksgiving day. Doris Patterson, who is teaching in Wayne, attended the wedding of a friend, Helen Cppler Thursday in Lincoln. She went to Omaha Friday where she visited at th* home of her uncle, A. J. Kanrlall. Guy Cole is in bed with a badly infected foot. He will have to re main in bed for about ten days. Mr. and Mrs. John Conard and daughter, Mary Lou, were dinner guests Thanksgiving day at the John Anspach home in Inman. Clyde Newton, of O’Neill, is vis iting relatives in Emmet. A large crowd attended and a fine time is reported. Miss Dorothy Ott is the teacher. Dinner guests at the Preston Jones home on Thanksgiving day were: Mrs. Elia Hull and son, William, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hull, Walter Devall and Cecil Griffith. Tahsgiving day dinner guests at the A. L. Borg home were: Mr. and Mrs. Eric Borg and Marvel, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffith and It. D. Spindlcr. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Borg and daughters, Laverne and Helen, spent Thanksgiving evening at the Howard Rouse home. Mrs. Dan Hansen and daughters, Lila and Bernice, spent Thanksgiv ing at the Clifford Wells home at Redbird. The Misses Mabel and Mildred Hansen spent the day at Lynch. Twilla Hicks came out from O’Neill on Saturday for an over night visit at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Delia Harrison and her aunts Mary Harrison and Mrs. Elmer Devall. Meriedy Hubby and children Bonnie and Bruce, of Atkinson, were dinner guests at the Eric Borg home on Friday, calling at the Howard Rouse home in the after noon. They returned home the same day. Mrs. Clarence Hicks and son, Merril, of O’Neill, were guests at the Harrison and Devall homes on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peck and daughters came over from Vcrdel on Sunday and were the guests of the Harry Fox family. Mr. and Mrs. Will Kaczor and Edward and Virginia Rausch and Mr. and Mrs. William Hubby were also guests there. Mr. and Mrs. Will Langan and children and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffith were guests at Mrs. E. H. Rouse’s on Sunday. Mrs. Mary Miser came over from Verdel on Sundky and was a guest at the Eric Borg home for the day. Mrs. Miser was formerly Mary Nelson and was raised in this community. She expects to make her home in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks. Mr. and Mrs. William Hubby and Henry Kaczor were guests at the Harry Fox home on Thanksgiving. Miss Rachel Robertson came up from Loretta, where she is teach ing, to spend Thanksgiving with home folks. Dinner guests at the Henry Wal ters home on Thanksgiving were: Mr. and Mrs. Sam Robertson and children, Mr. and Mrs. Georgp Nel son and chilldren, Mrs. Christine Walters, Clint McMillan and Miss Maud Rouse. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Hubby were dinner guests at the Paul Nelson home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Will Blitzkie, of Spencer, were dinner guests at the Frank Griffith home on Tuesday. Melvin Johring spent Sunday afternoon at the Eric Borg home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johring spent Sunday afternoon at the Matt Ernst home.
