Miss Ilia Adnerson, of Norfolk, spent Saturday in O’Neill visiting friends. Harold Nelson returned Satur day from Omaha, where he had been on business. Mrs; Ralph Ernst, who has been quite ill with an infection in her hands, is much better. Mrs. R. R. Morrison left Sunday night for Omaha, where she went on a short business trip. Charles Yarnall, who spent last week in Hastings on business, re turned home Friday night. Merle Hickey left Monday for Valentine and the western part of the state on a business trip. Miss Hazel Schwisow left Mon day for Omaha, where she will take the State Board examinations for nurses. Mrs. Frank Reese, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Mc Elhaney, left Monday for her home in Valentine. Mr. and Mrs. Emmet A. Harmon left Friday for Omaha on a short business trip, returning home on Monday evening. Rev. H. D. Johnson returned last Thursday from attending the an nual meeting of the Nebraska Pres byterian Synod at Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bauman and little son left Wednesday morning for Omaha, where Mrs. Bauman will receive medical treat ment. Mr. and Mrs. George McCarthy and Mrs. Lorena Duffy, of Casper, Wyo., drove to Sioux City Wed nesday where they spent the day on business. Mrs. R. R. Morrison and son, Jack, left Tuesday for Casper, Wyo., where they will visit her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davidson. Dick Daley, of Omaha, was in O’Neill last week on business and visiting his relatives, Judge and Mrs. J. J. Harrington, returned home on Thursday. Miss Irene Ruzicka, of Clarkson, Nebraska, who has been visiting her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ruzicka, left for her home Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ruzicka, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Johnson, Miss Irene Ruzicka and Gordon Ander son drove to Long Pine Sunday and spent the day visiting. Bennett Gilligan and Owen Me Pharlin of Omaha, were in the city Wednesday evening visiting relatives and friends. They left for home Thursday morning. George Thomas Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Robert son of this city, was among the graduates from Hastings College this year, having received his B. A degree. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davidson and son, Steve, of Casper, Wyo., arriv ed Saturday night to attend the wedding of Mrs. Davidson’s sister, Miss Mary Morrison and Roland Newton. Mr. and Mrs. George McCarthy and family and Mr. and Mrs. M. H. McCarthy drove to Hastings Saturday and spent Sunday visit ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John McCarthy. Mrs. D. H. Cronin, Marjorie Joan and Richard, left last Friday morning for Omaha, where they were to visit for a couple of days and then go to Nebraska City for a months visit at the home of Mrs. Cronin's sister, Mrs. F.
