erty; to have found and determined
that the devisee under the will of
Geo. H. Johnson died prior to the
death of the testator, Geo. H. John
son, leaving no issue surviving
her and that by reason of the
death of such beneficiary, and as
a matter of law, such devise
lapsed and became void by reason
of her death without issue and said
property descended to the heirs
at law of the said Geo. H. Johnson,
as provided by the laws of descent
and distribution of this state and
for such other and further relief
as equity and good conscience may
require.

NOTICE OF INCORPORATION
Notice is hereby given that C. R.
Thompson, Mrs. Ruth Thompson,
and Vernon Landholm of the State
of Nebraska have associated them
selves together for the purpose of
forming and becoming a corpora
tion under the laws of the State
of Nebraska:
First: The name of the Corpora
tion shall be “The American Albino
Horse Club.”
Second: The principal place of
transacting the business of said
Corporation shall be Stuart, Ne
breaska.
Third: The general nature of
the business to be transacted shall
be to collect, verify, preserve and
publish pedigrees of the specific
breed of horses known as the
Albino horse.
Fourth: The existence of this
Corporation shall commence on the

have no capital stock and it is non

C. C. Cole of Star, was in the
city Saturday on his way to Ains
worth where he was to visit his
sister-in-law, who has been serious
ly ill. Mr. Cole returned Monday
morning and said he found his
sister-in-law much improved.
Dr. J. C. Copp, Dr. J. T. DoRan
and Dr. L. C. Feichlinge, veterin
aries in the employment of the
U. S. department of agriculture,
are in the county checking up on
reactors in the herds of Holt county
stockmen. They have been here
about a week and expect it will take
them three weeks to completely
check the county.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Matthews
and daughter and Miss Patricia
Murray drove up from Lincoln last
Wednesday afternoon to spend
Thanksgiving with relatives and
friends here. Miss Murray re
turned to Lincoln Sunday while Mr.
and Mrs. Matthews and daughter
remained here until Tuesday when
they returned home.
Romaine Saunders was in from
the southwest part of the county
last Friday to attend the funeral
of his old-time friend, John Addi
son. Mr. and Mrs. Saunders left
Wednesday afternoon for Lincoln,
where they will spend the winter,
returning to Holt county when the
buds begin to shoot in the spring.
For the winter Romaine has ac
cepted a position in a print shop in
Lincoln where he was employed
for many years. Our readers will
miss his spirited days of early Holt,
which he has been supplying this
