REPORTER PHOTOGRAPHERS, hundreds of them,
• constantly scour the world for "shots” that
will make a news highlight more real. . . more
interesting ... more understandable. The single,
business-like click of a camera and a thousand
word story is captured, all in an instant, to be
presented in a manner more graphic than the
words themselves could ever attain.
The scenes these men photograph number into
the thousands daily. From this great number a
careful selection is made. The chosen pictures,
designed to aid you in the visualization of im
portant news events or "human-interest”
occurrences and individuals, are regularly
offered by this newspaper.
This is our answer to a modern public's demand
upon a modern newspaper for pictures of places,
persons and incidents of world-wide interest.
