The Inman Workers extension; club met on Friday with Miss Gladys Hancock. A covered dish luncheon was served at noon and the afternoon was spent with the lesson on “Flowers for Every Home.” The next meeting will be held with Mrs. Walter Sire next Friday. The M. E. Ladies’ Aid met Tues. day at the I. O. O. F. hall for an all day meeting. Dinner was served at noon. The next meeting will be next Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Dorlin Lockman. Rev. Raymond Wylie has been ill for several days and was unable to preach Sunday. The two W’ylie children have also been very ill but are better at this time. The RNA Lodge met at the home of Mrs. J. T. Thompson Wednesday, a good attendance being reported. Mrs. Walt Jacox and daughter, Donna Rae, spent the week-end in Omaha visiting relatives. G. E. Moor received word Friday morning that his brother, Tom Moor of Orchard, had passed aw'ay very suddenly that morning.
