Mrs. Anna Kirwin left Wednes
day morning for Sioux City, Iowra,
w’hereshe expects to spend a couple
of months visiting at the home of
her son and daughter.

Froelich came back from Chicago
last Tuesday night, coming on the
train. Hugh says that it has been
bitter cold in Chicago, but he docs
not think there is as much snow
there as there is farther north.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Vance left
Tuesday for their future home at
Clinton, Iowa, to w'hich point Mr.
Vance was transferred by the Int
erstate Power company. Mr. and
Mrs. Vance have been residents of
this city for about ten months and
they made many friends during
their residence here who wish them
success and prosperity in their new
home.
Norma Dexter Miller has brought
suit for divorce from Harry F. Mil
ler. The petition alleges that they
were married at Glenwood, la., on
April 2, 1928, and that they both
have been life-long residents of

inhuman treatment. There are no ^

Edward Kirkpatrick, member of
the CCC camp at Madison, was
here with home folks several days
and left on Northwestern passeng
er No. 14 for camp late Sunday
morning. Edward says the camp
at Madison is within the city limits ^
of the town and that he is one of
the carpenters of the camp. He is
studying several school subjects
also at camp.
Pete Kiplinger of Ericson, Harry
Larson of Chambers and Bill Mc
Nally and Edward Kirkpatrick, of
O’Neill, came up and spent last
Friday, Saturday and Sunday with
home folks. Several other nearby
farm lads came and we failed to
obtain their names. The CCC
members reported two and one
half feet of snow at Madison where
all are stationed. The latest daily
snow should increase that to about
four feet. How about it, boys?
