Testing of Cattle for Tuberculosis
In Holt County Under Provisions
of Chapter 12, Session Laws of
Nebraska, 1927.
WHEREAS, Holt county, * Ne
braska, on the 11th day of Decem
ber, 1935, was by the Nebraska
Department of Agriculture and In
spection, declared to be an area for
the inspection, examination and
testing of cattle for Tuberculosis
under the provisions of Chapter 12,
Session Laws of Nebraska for 1927,
and the regulations prescribed or
to be prescribed, from time to time,
by the Department; and
WHEREAS, under provisions of
said statute it is required that a
notice be published in at least one
newspaper of general circulation
in a county, established as an area
for the examination, inspection and
testing of cattle for Tuberculosis,
before testing is commenced:
NOW THEREFORE, it is here
by announced that inspection, ex
amination and testing of cattle for
Tuberculosis in Holt county will be
commenced on or as early after
December 23, 1935 as possible.

Miss Agnes Reznicek, an em
ployee of the Bakery, returned last
Thursday evening from a months
visit at the home of her parents
at David City.
R. J. Rohde, one of the energetic
and hustling farmers of Coleman
township, was a pleasant caller at
this office Monday and extended
his subscription to this household
necessity.
Mrs. R. R. Morrison entertained
at a dinner at the Golden last Mon
day night honoring Mrs. Girard, of
Cleveland, Ohio. After dinner the
guests enjoyed cards at the Morri
son home.
The teacher and pupils of Dist.

Mrs. George Weingartner was
placed in the Stuart hospital last
Saturday and that day underwent
an operation for the removal of her
appendix. She is reported in sat
isfactory condition.
.Jud Cronk, of Verdigris precinct
one of the old timers in that sec
tion of the county, was a pleasant
caller at this office last week and
extended his subscription to this
household necessity.
H. B. Hubbard and George Wrede
came up from Lincoln last Satur
day • afternoon and spent a few
days looking after business mat
ters in this city and visiting old
friends and relatives.
Ernie Nelson had a birthday last
Sunday and that evening about
