After Two-Thousand-Year Sleep Twenty centuries have passed since the ancients sculp tured these figures of stone, which, surviving the ravages of time, have blen discovered by Dr. Linar Gjorstad among the excavations in the* village of Ajia Irini, on the Island of Cyprus. Dr. Gjerstad, who made this picture, is the leader of the Swedish archaeological expedition which recently made many valuable scientific discoveries on the Island.
