Death in Corn stalks
Johnstown Enterprise: Mrs. Henry
Voss and daughter Bessie were in
from the ranch Friday. Mrs. Voss
reported while in town that they had
recently lost four head of cattle as a
result of cornstalk disease, two of the
animals being thoroughbreds. From
this it is indicated that there may be
danger lurking in the stalk fields this
fall as often before and that stockmen
will do well to use what few pre
cautions may be taken to avoid loss
from that source.
