and Colleges, the highest
ranking a high school may
have, O’Neill High School
offers instruction in Arts
and Science, Normal Train
ing, Home Economics, Com
mercial Training, Music and
Athletics. For the past three
years the O’Neill branch of
the Holt County Red Cross
has furnished a nurse to
give three months instruc
tion a year in Health, Per
sonal Hygiene, First A i d
and allied subjects. This ser
vice will be continued this
year.
To meet the approval of
the North Central Associa
tion all high school teachers
must be graduates of Ap
proved Colleges; the O’Neill
High School meets this re
quirement as well as all oth
ers of this Association.

The O’Neill High School is the only high school in
Holt County accredited to the North Central Asso
ciation of Schools and Colleges—the highest rank
ing a high school may have. O'Neill High School
graduates are not required to take examinations
for entrance into any state college.
COMMERCIAL
A complete Commercial Department is maintain
ed which gives you courses in Shorthand, Typewrit
ing, Book-keeping, and other Commercial subjects.
Graduates of this department go from school into
local offices and make good.
ARTS AND SCIENCE
The regular High School course gives you sound
| training in Arts and Science under the instruction
t of degreed teachers who are graduates of approved
I colleges.
| NORMAL TRAINING
Normal Training under the supervision of the
I State Superintendent is offered you. Graduates of
this department receive a teacher’s certificate with
out attendance at a Normal.
MUSIC SUPERVISION
A Music Supervisor for the entire school gives
| you special training in Music. Glee Clubs and Or
chestra are features of this department.
HOME ECONOMICS
Instruction in Home-making, Cooking, Sewing.
RED CROSS NURSE
Three months instruction in Health, First Aid,
Home Nursing and Personal Hygiene are given by
a Red Cross Nurse, furnished by the O’Neill branch
of the Holt County Red Cross.
ATHLETICS
Football, Basketball and Track will be given you
by a graduate of the Lincoln High School and the
State University who learned these sports by play
ing them under the instruction of the able Coaches
of these schools.
