Mrs. Goldie Liddy is taking treat ments in the hospital at Stuart. Mrs. Arthur Barnes has been ill for two or three weeks with sinus trouble. George Losher submitted to an operation for hernia at the hospital in Atkinson last Saturday. C. It. Pettijohn came down from the ranch last week and has been visit ing O'Neill friends and relatives. Mrs. R. B. Price, of Lewanna, Neb., catne Saturday for a visit at the home of her brother, R. E. Gallagher. Mrs. M. F. Harrington returned from Hot Springs, S. I)., last Friday. Her daughter, Mrs. Wattles, is great ly improved. Friends of Willis Barker, who is a patient at the Clarkson hospital in Omaha, will be pleased to learn that he is improving. Miss Geneva Grady, who has been attending Barnes College, at Den ver the past year, came last Saturday for a few day’s visit with home folks. The M. M. Club met at the home of Mrs. Arlo Hiatt on Friday. The after non was spent playing Bridge. Mrs. Clarence Zimmerman won high score prize. Mrs. Forest Smith entertained the Nu Fu Bridge Club last Friday after noon. Mrs. Dale won the high score prize and Mrs. W. J. McDonough second. The Ladies Guild of the Presbyter ian Church will meet January 23rd with Mrs. .Jeanne Scott. Mrs. H. G. Kruse and Mrs. C. E. Yantzi will assist in entertaining. Mr. and Mrs. James Connolly re ceived a telegram today stating that their son, Thomas J., was married this morning at Vernon, Texas, to Miss Maude Hardin, of Casper, Wyo.
