Miss Margaret Joyce returned to
Chicago, Monday, to resume her
work.
Some time ago Henry Gunzenhaus
er passed a “No Fund” eneck on R.
H. Platte, of Chambers. Gunzenhaus
er was apprehended in Omaha and is
being brought to O’Neill to answer
to the charge.
Lawrence Malone returned home
last week from a few days business
trip to Des Moines, Iowa.
Mrs.' Verda Nielson has filed suit
for divorce from her husband, Fred
E. Nielson. The petition was filed on
September 3rd.
Elmer Strong suffered a severe in
jury to the end of the middle finger
of the right hand last, week when the
member was caught under a grating
over a coal hole in the sidewalk. Dr.
Carter dressed the finger.
County Treasurer W. E. Conklin
says that he has written about 3,000
drivers licenses thus far. The time
limit for driving a car legally with
out. a license will expire the last day
of September. Anyone driving a car
after that date will be liable to the
prescribed penalties.
