Frank Snyder went over by Middle, branch Monday and brought home his horses from the pasture. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Snyder and Harry Snyder and family visited last Sunday at the George Fink home. Mrs. Lush entertained the N. O. K. club Thursday afternoon. A delicious lunch was served and a good time had by all. Miss Lura Grass came home Friday from Wayne for a visit. Grass and children, Arnold, Darlene and Shirley, and Mrs. C. A. Grass and children, Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Hough, of O’Neill, spent the evening at the Mrs. Cora Hamilton home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. George Drey and children, Donald and Dolores arrived Tuesday afternoon from Early, Iowa, for a week’s visit with Mrs. Drey’s mother and brother, Mrs. Cora Ham ilton and son, Mrs. George Drey and children, Mrs. Cora Hamilton and Mrs, C. A. Grass visited Thursday after noon at the Prince Stevens’ home in Page. MEEK AND VICINITY. ‘ W. F. Kaczor and son, Edward, went to Norfolk on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Hubby spent Sunday at the Eric Borg home. Mrs. A. L. Borg called at the Frank Searles home Tuesday afternoon. Grandpa Kaczor is visiting his son, John and family, in Boyd county. George Weldon helped Frank Searles with some work last week. James Spindler was an overnight visitor of Cecil Griffith on Sunday. Miss Martha Mitchell called on Mrs, Frank Griffith Wednesday evening. The Albert Kaczor family were at John Kaczor’s in Boyd county on Sat urday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Stein are the proud parents of a baby boy bom the 23rd of September. Mrs. Guy Hull, who has been very ill at the Lynch hospital, is reported better at this writing. Walter Dchlberg came over from Boyd county Saturday evening and visited the Hubby Bros. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Robertson and daughters visited at the John A. Robertson home on Sunday. Rev. H. II. Beers, of O’Neill, preached a very interesting sermon at Pleasant Valley Sunday afternoon. William Hull, who has had poor health for some time, was ordered to stay in bed for some time by his doc tor. Miss Marks and Miss .Jerks, of Bassett, Nebraska, were visiting friends in this vicinity over the week end. Mrs. Fred Lindburg and Ruth and Mrs. Clarence Hicks and Tulla, spent Wednesday afternoon at Mrs. Frank Nelson’s. A party was held at the Harry Fox home on Saturday evening. Quite a large crowd attended and all enjoyed themselves. Mr. and Mrs. Levi Hull, of O’Neill, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hull, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nelson and children spent Sunday at the William Hull home. Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen and fam ily, of Minden, Nebrasku, spent the week end visiting the Pete, Fred, Oscar and Harold Lindburg families. Clayton Thomson and Isel Wells stole a march on their friends on Wed nesday and were quietly married in O’Neill. Their many friends wish them a happy and prosperous life. Mr. and Mrs. Hanthon, of Buffalo Gap, South Dakota, came Friday bor a visit at the Schelkpof and Chalie Clouse homes.
