Caroline Emma Mikus for Mother’s
Pension.
Findings and Order No. 27.
On this 3rd day of January, A. D.,
1925, it being one of the days of a
special term of the District Court of
Holt County, Nebraska, this matter
came on to be heard upon the Appli
cation of Caroline Emma Mikus for a
Mother’s Pension. Upon considera
tion whereof, the Court being advised
in the premises, finds that the state
ments made in said Application are
true; that the said Caroline Emma
Mikus is the mother of Four children,
to-wit: Stephen Mikus, age 16 years;
Peter Mikus, age 14 years; Joseph
Mikus, age 12 years, and Annie Mi
kus, age 10 years; that said children
have no relatives within the second
degree of sufficient ability to support
them, and that it is for their wel
fare that they remain at home with
their mother; that relief is necessary
in order to care for and educate said
children; that the said Caroline Em
ma Mikus has been a resident of Ilolt
County, Nebraska, for mote than two
years, and that she does not own real
property or personal property other
than the household goods of more
than two thousand dollars in value,
and that she should therefore be al
lowed a Mother’s Pension.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED,
that the said Caroline Emma Mikus
be, and slje hereby is, granted a
Mother’s Pension in the sum of $20.00
per month for a term of four months,
beginning January 1, 1925, and $10.00
per month for two months, beginning
May 1, 1925, and that the Board of
County Supervisors of said county
are hereby directed to provide for the
payment of said Mother’s Pension in
accordance with this order and the
law, a copy of said order delivered
to the County Clerk being the au
thority therefor.

Madison County, Nebraska, my home,
as evidenced by tax receipt and
schedule hereto attached.
They were also assessed in Scott
Township in Holt County.

of $4,415.50, with interest thereon at
the rate of 10 per cent per annum
from September 22, 1924, until paid,
which amount constitutes a lien on
the mortgaged premises prior to the
estates, interests or liens of any of
the parties defendant to said cause;
to satisfy defendant, V. B. Kadlec, in
the sum of 83,264.50, with interest
thereon at 8 per cent per annum from
September 22, 1924, which amount
constitutes a second lien upon the
mortgaged premises; to satisfy de
fendant, J. L. Fisher, in the sum of
$3,270.00, with interest thereon at 7
per cent per annum from September
22, 1924, which amount constitutes a
third lien upon the mortgaged prem
ises; and to satisfy the sum of $73.14
costs shown on said order of sale, and
the accruing costs; the proceeds of
said sale to be applied, upon con
firmation of said sale, as follows, to
wit;
1. To the satisfaction of the un
paid costs herein that have accrued or
that may accrue.
2. To the payment to plaintiff of
said sum found to be due him, with
interest thereon, as above provided,
and his costs herein expended.
3. To the payment to the defend
ant, V. B. Kadlec, of the sum found
to be due him, with interest thereon
as above provided, and his costs here
in expended.
4. To the payment to defendant,
J. L. Fisher, of the sum found to be
due him, with interest thereon as
above provided, and his costs herein
expended.
5. The surplus, if any, to be paid
to such of the defendants herein as
may be shown at that time to be en
titled to the same.
All as provided by said order of
sale and decree.
Said sale will be held open for one
hour at the time and place aforesaid.
