GATHER CROP FOR CLEARWATER MAN (Orchard News) Neighbors with fifty teams and wagons gathered at the Gene Work man farm near Clearwater Wednesday morning and before night had gather ed his corn crop for him. Mr. Workman recently lost the sight of one of his eyes and was badly .ounded in the hand by the accidental discharge of a gun, which will prevent his working most of the winter. The women also helped by preparing a feast at noon for the workers. EWING LAD WINS HONORS. (Ewing Advocate.) Announcement that Harvey M. Johnston, son of Mrs. Emma Johnston of Ewing is next year’s football cap tain at Doane College, was made Sat urday night at the All-Doane football banquet. Mr. Johnston was also awarded the Honor D in recogni tion of his powers on the gridiron.
