appointed to investigate the protests
of Bea Helen Gallagher and C. M.
Daly wish to repot that iwe have ex
amined the properties mentioned and
find that in our opinion the valuation
of the Gallagher house should be re
duced to $3200 and that in the matter
of the Daly property we would recom
mend that the value of his two houses
be put at $3250 each.

Comes now The City of O’Neill and
states that The Western Bridge and
Construction Company of Omaha has
returned no tax schedule in and for
the City of O’Neill for the year 1921.
That on the 1st day of April, 1921,
said Western Bridge and Construction
Company had in said City of O’Neill
one truck, one bridge building ap
paratus, two truck wagons, and ma
teail and had over $15000 worth of
material in said City which was and is
subject to taxation.
Your petitioner therefore demands
that said Western Bridge and Com
struction. Company be assessed in the
City of O’Neill for the year 1921 for
property of the value of $17500 or
more, or that they be required to show
cause why such assessment together
with double penalty for failure to list
should not be impoed upon them.
