Mr. Chairman: It appears from the records that the NW Vi of Sec, 24-29-10 has been assessed in School District 23 and taxes collected by said District since 1912. This tract of land is not in District 23 but In School District No. 124. Therefore, I move you that the County Clerk be instruct ed to notify the County Treasurer to transfer $185.80, amount erroneously paid to District 23, to the school fund of District 124. -• L. C. All members present. Called to order by chairman. To the Honorable County Board of Supervisors of Holt County, Nebraska. WE, the undersigned, being the owners of the land adjacent to the pro posed road, hereby petition your honorable body to change a public road, described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the southwest cor ner of Section 8, Township 29, Range 9, and running thence east on the sec tion line 7.00 chains, thence north in Section 8 the distance of One mile to the north line thereof, thence west on said north line of section to the north west corner thereof and there termi nate. 'Also that all of Road No. 174 lying between Sections 7 and 8, Town ship 29, North of Range 9 West be vacated. The greater part of which crosses the lake or very low wet land. If the road be established as above described we relinquish and waive all claims for damages exqppt for the amount set opposite our names, which sum we agree to accept in full satis faction for all damages to our re spective lands as follows: T. S. Roche, NWVi ,20-29-9, $90.00 damages for fence posts for building extra mile fence, $70.00 for wire for extra mile fence, $40.00 labor building fence, $100.00 two acres land. We, the undersigned, are interested in the establishment of said road and reside within five miles of the said proposed road and we have each given Lhe location of our land and residence apposite our respective names in sec tion, town and range: R.
