move that the County Treasurer be
authorized and is hereby ordered to
collect and distribute all Registration
Fees in accordance with II. R. Nos.
344 and 345, enacted as a law by the
* State Legislature to take effect April
13, 1921, said law provides that 3%
per cent shall be transmitted to State1
Treasury, 75 per cent of balance shall
be credited to the State Highway
Maintenance Fund, and 25 per cent
credited to the Road Dragging fund.

Gentlemen: In regard to tracts of
land in Section 2-29-9, Nos. 6-7.
Since tho year 1916 these tracts have
been assessed in Ewing Township as
' tracts No. 6 and No. 7, and also as
parts of NWti Sec. 2-26-9. Taxes
have been paid on one assessment for
those years and No. 6 has been sold for
taxes for years 1918, 1919 and 1920,
amounting to $43.15 which should be
refunded to Mr. J. A. Devine and the
taxes for 1916 and 1917 should be can
celled on tract No. 7, the taxes should
be cancelled for the year 1916-17-18
19 and 20.

sessment of G. W. Pond in McClure
Township for year of 1916 seems to
bi. in error for the reason these cattle
lifted for tax in the above township
were assessed in Ewing Township by
myself as assessor for the same year,
and in fact were not owned by G. W.
Pond until April 4 of that year,
therefore, I move the value of $6645
be stricken from tax list of that year.
