To ail persons interested in said es
tate, both creditors and heirs:
*You are hereby notified that on
the 25th day of June, A. D. 1920,
Fred Martens filed this petition in
the Probate Court of Holt county, Ne
braska, in which he alleges that the
said Joseph Joszkowiak departed this
life in the month of February, 1893,
in, Washington county, Nebraska, in
testate; and that at the time of his
death he was a boni-fide resident of
said county and state.
That on the first day oFMarch, 1895,
iGustav Summick and Mary Summick,
his wife, made, executed and delivered
for a valuable consideration a war
ranty deed and thereby conveyed to
the Legal Heirs at law of Joseph Josz
kowiak deceased the following describ
ed real estate situated in the county of
Holt and state of Nebraska, to wit:
South Half of Southwest Quarter
Section 13, Township 28, Range 14,
West of the 6th Principal Meridian.
Petitioner further alleges that more
than- two years have elapsed since
the death of the said Joseph Josz
kowiak and that there are no debts
or claims of any nature against said
estate, that are liens upon the real
estate above described.
That there has been no administra
tor appointed in the state of Nebraska,
and that no Probate Court within the
State of Nebraska has ever acquired
any jurisdiction over said estate.
Petitioner therefor pray sfor an order
dispensing with regular administra
tion, and a decree estabishing who
were the legal heirs at law of Joseph
Joszkowiak deceas^ji on March 1, 1895.
You are further notified that a hear
ing upon said petition will be had in
the County Court room in the City
of O’Neill, Nebraska, on the 31st day
of July, A. D. 1920, at the hour of 10
o’clock A. M. of said day when and
where you will show cause if any
there be why said prayer of the said
petition should not be granted.*

The following resolution was passed
regarding repairing of bridges:
Mr. Chairman: Whereas, there has
been during the last month or six
weeks an unprecedented rainfall
throughout Holt county, and that as a
result thereof there has been sudden
torrential floods; that the rainfall has
been so sudden and of such great
quantity that the same has constitu
ted a sudden casualty. That as a
result thereof bridges throughout the
county have been destroyed and
damaged so as to prevent the same
from being used by the public for
travel, and the same has caused great
inconvenience to the public and inter
ference with the general business of
the county and,
Whereas, there ai-e not sufficient
funds in the treasury belonging to the
bridge fund to repair said bridges or
replace the same, and there is not
sufficient available money in the bridge
fund for said purpose,
Now Therefore, I move you, Mr.
Chairman, that this Honorable Body
do hereby declare that an emergency
exists, and that the Board give notice
in the time and form prescribed by
Statutes of the intention of this Board
to repair the damage caused by said
sudden casualty from other funds, and
that notice of such intention be pub
lished as provided by law.
