NOTICE OF CHATTEL MORTGAGE
SALE.
Whereas on the 4th day of Decem
ber, 1919, John Carr as plaintiff, com
menced an action of replevin in the
District Court of Holt County, Ne
braska, against John McTaggart and
John Miskimmins as defendants, to
re-cover the possession of certain
personal property, that the same
might be sold at public auction to
satisfy an indebtedness then due the
plaintiff, Carr, from the defendant, Mc
Taggart, in the sum of $2,168.15,
which indebtedness, is the balance due
the plaintiff and secured by a chattel
mortgage on the personal property
hereinafter described and that said
plaintiff has taken from said defend
ants under said writ of replevin and
by voluntary surrender of some of
said property by the defend
ant McTaggart, the following describ
ed personal property to-wit: One
brown gelding; one buckskin mare;
one set of Concord harness; twenty
head of horses from two to six years
otf age; four head of cattle; five Mc
Cormick mowers; three two-horse
rakes; three sweeps; one stacker; four
wagons; five saddles; twelve sets of
double harness; all of said property
above described, being covered by the
chattel mortgage aforesaid.
Now Therefore, the plaintiff will, at
the Fair Grounds in O’Neill, Ne
braska, on the 10th day of January,
1920, at 10 o’clock A. M. of said day,
sell the above described personal
property to the highest bidder for
cash, or so much thereof as may be
necessary to satisfy the amount due
plaintiff at the commencement of this
action on the indebtedness aforesaid,
together with all interest, accruing
interest, costs and accruing costs, cost
of caring for, handling, maintaining
and selling said property and all
other expenses incidental to the en
forcement and foreclosure of plain
tiff’s said chattel mortgage.
