To All Persons Interested in Said
Estate Both Creditors and Heirs'
Y’ou are hereby notified that on the
3rd day of October, A. D., 1919, Al
bert Cerdes, petitioner, filed his peti
tion in the Probate Court of Holt
County, Nebraska, in which he alleges
that James M. Thompson died inte
state at his residence in Holt County,
Nebraska, on the ‘22nd day of May,
1909, a bona fide resident and inhabi
tant of the County of Holt; that he
died possessed in fee simple of the fol
lowing described real estate situated
in the County of Holt and State of Ne
braska, to-wit; The northeast quarter
of section thirteen (13), township
twenty-nine (29), north, range twelve
(12), west of the 6th P. M. That the
said James M. Thompson left him sur
viving as his sole and only heirs at
law, and the sole and only persons in
terested in said estate the following
named persons, to-wit; Alice R.
Thompson his widow, Cecil G. Thomp
son and Esther M. Thompson his
minor children.
The petitioner further alleges that
more than two years have elapsed
since the date of the death of the said
James M. Thompson; that there are no
claims, debts or expenses of any kind
or nature outstanding and unpaid
against his said estate; that said de
scribed real estate is wholly free and
clear of all liens, debts, charges or
claims of any kind or nature; that no
administrator has been appointed in
the State of Nebraska, and no applica
tion has been made in the State of Ne
braska for the appointment of an ad
ministrator by his heirs or by any
person claiming to be a creditor of his
said estate, and no Probate Court in
the State of Nebraska has acquired
jurisdiction of his said estate. Peti
tioner prays for a decree determining
the time of the death of the said de
ceased, the heirs at law of said de
ceased, the degree of kinship and right
of descent of said described real
estate, and prays that said named
heirs at law may be adjudged and de
creed by the Court to be the sole, sur
viving heirs at law of said deceased.
You are further notified that a hear
ing upon said petition will be had in
the County Court room in O’Neill, Ne
braska, on Monday, the 3rd day of No
vember, A. D. 1919, at the hour of 10
o’clock A. M., when and where you
will show cause, if any there be, why
the prayer of said petition should not
be granted.

Holland filed a petition in the County

leging that Josephine Hartley a resi
dent of Grant County, Wisconsin, died
intestate on June 12, 1916. That she
died seized of the record title to West
Half of Section 11, in Township 25
North, of Range 16 West of the 6th
Principal Meridian in Holt County,
Nebraska; that she left surviving her
as the sole and only heir Harold
Kennerup her son; that petitioner is
the owner of said real estate; that
there are no debts against the estate
of said deceased. You are notified
that the prayer of the petition is:
“Petitioner prays that the Court shall
determine the time of the death of
Josephine Hartley; that she died intes
tate; shall order regular administra
tion of said estate dispensed with;
shall adjudge that there are no debts
against said estate; and shall decree
who are the heirs of Josephine Hart

right of descent of the real property

and a decree that a certain mortgage
thereon given by John H. Bay and
Catharina Bay, his wife, to Walter F.

in Book 38 of mortgages at page 45 of
the records of Holt County, Ne
braska, in the sum of $600.00, has been
fully paid and satisfied and is barred
by the statute of limitations of the
State of Nebraska and unenforcable;
and to remove from said title the
clouds cast thereon by the claims of,
liens, title, interest or estate in or
upon said real estate of the defend
ants and each and all of them and to
enjoin each and all of said defendants
from asserting or claiming any right,
title, lien, interest or estate in or upon
said real estate or any part thereof.
You are required' to answer said
petition on or before the 24th day of
November, 1919.

ways, road overseers and other town
ship officials of the several townships
of Holt county are hereby notified that
all weeds, willows, grass or other
vegetation liable to collect drifting
snow, along section lines and laid out
roads and highways in the couty, must
be mowed and ceaned at once, that the
drifting of snow and the subsequent
blocking of highways may be pre
vented.
