Mr. Chairman: I move you that the Board grant permission to Mr. Charles Ross to construct and main tain a concrete cattle'chute on section line between sections .17 and 22, Town 31, Rage 11, length of same to be IS feet, protected by guards at each end. Harmon, ex-Clerk of the District Court, appeared before the Board and requested until No vember 1, 1919, for final settlement as Clerk of the District Court which time was granted by the Board. Mjr. Chairman: I move you that the Board reconsider their action on 'motion of Sullivan seconded by Roth erham that Board appoint E. H. Whelan and C. D. Keyes on board with County Superintendent to redistrict the county. JOS. SCHOLLMEYER, H. U. HUBBARD. Motion carried. Gilligan be appointed as a mem ber of the Board of Health of Holt county to act with the sheriff and county superintendent. F. C. WATSON, H. U. HUBBARD. Motion carried. Resolution. Be it Resolved: By the County Board of Supervisors of Holt county, Nebraska, that it is the expression of the Board, that the County Road No. 273, designated and established on August 8, 1918, and connecting the city of O’Neill with the village of Chambers, and recommended by by the Board for construction by State Aid Funds and Federal Aid Funds, is one of the most important, if not the most important, highway in said county, the freight and passenger traffic over said road being the great est in said county. And be it further Resolved, that it is the expression of said Board that County Road known as the Atkinson, Amelia and Inez Road, designated and established on April 5, 1918, and connecting the city of Atkinson with Amelia and known as the Atkinson, Inez and Amelia Highway and recommended by the Board for construction by the State Aid Funds and Federal Aid Funds is one of the most important Highways in said county, the freight and passenger traffic over the same being very large and constantly in creasing. And be it further Resolved, that it is the expression of said Board that the construction and completion of said Highways at the earliest practical moment by State Aid and Federal Aid Funds are urgently needed and demanded by the Public, and their early construct ion and completion are much more important and necessary for the public1 convenience than the construct ion and completion of the O’Neill and Spencer Highway, a road principally traveled by t ourists. Be it further Resolved: That a copy of this resolution be transmitted by the County Clerk to the Board of Irriga tion, Highways and Drainage for con sideration. JOHN SULLIVAN,' H. U. HUBBARD, F. C.
