You and each of you are hereby
notified that on the 22nd day of June,
A. D. 1918, Harriet D. Snow, as
petitioner, filed in the County Court
of Holt County, Nebraska, a duly veri
fied petition, the object and purpose
of said petition being to have the
court dispense with regular adminis
tration in the estate of Edward B.
Bishop, deceased, and also in the
estate of Barton Bishop, deceased, and
to have the court find, adjudge and
decree the names, ages and i-esidences
of the heirs at law of Edward B.
Bishop, deceased, and Barton Bishop,
deceased, and that said Edward B.
Bishop left an estate of inheritence
consisting of real property described
as follows: The Northeast Quarter
of Section Eight (8), in Township
Twenty-nine (29), North of Range
Nine (9), West of the Sixth P. M. in
Holt County, Nebraska, and also the
Northwest Quarter of Section Nine
(9), in Township Thirty-one (31),
Range Twenty-one (21), West of the
Sixth P. M. in Brown County, Ne
braska, and that Barton Bishop, now
deceased, left an apparent equitable
interest in the above described real
estate; that said real property above
described and all interest therein is
wholly exempt from execution, at
tachment or other mesne process and
not liable for the payment of the
debts of either Edward B. Bishop or
Barton Bishop, now deceased, and to
have the court make an order that the
regular administration of the estate
of Edward B. Bishop, deceased, and
Barton Bishop, deceased, be dispensed
with, and that the court make and
enter its findings of fact upon the al
legations of the petition, and to have
the court make and enter a final de
cree naming the' sole heirs at law of
the raid Edward B. Bishop, deceased,
and Barton Bishop, deceased, under
the laws of this state as they existed
at the time of the death of each of
said deceased persons, together with
their ages and places of residency.
You are required to appear at 10
o’clock A. M., July 22nd, 1918, and
show cause, if any there be, why the

Sealed bids will be received at the
office of the Grattan Township Board,
at O’Neill, on the 27th day of July,
1918, for the construction of a graded
road in Township 28, Range 12, Road
District 26, in Grattan Township. All
bids shall be submitted on bidding
blanks furnished by the Township
Clerk of Grattan Township.
The line of road to be constructed
and repaired commences at the North
east corner of Section One, in Twenty
eight, Twelve and west three miles to
the Northwest corner of Section
Three, then south one mile, and west
two miles, then south four miles to
the Northeast corner of Section
Thirty-one, all in Township Twenty
eight and Range Twelve. Said grade
to be constructed as follows:
Twenty-four foot wide at the base;
16 foot wide on top, and 18 inches high
in the center; 12 inches high on the
sides.
Each mile of said work to be bid on
separate, on blanks furnished by the
Township Clerk. All work to be in
accordance with plans and specifica
tions on file in the office of the Town
Board. The Board reserves the right
to reject any or all bids.
