heirs, devisees, legatees and personal
representatives of William Carlson,
deceased, defendants will take
notice that on the 11th day of Way,
1918, Allen M. Mitchell, plaintiff, filed
his petition in the District Court of
Holt County, Nebraska, and com
menced an action against said de
fendants, the object and prayer of
which is to secure a decree of Court
quieting and confirming in the plain
tiff the title to, and possession of the
following described real estate situated
in the County of Holt, and State of
Nebraska, to-wit: The southeast quar
ter of section twenty (20), township
twenty-eight (28), north, range nine
(9), west of the 6th P. M , and to ad
judge and decree that the defendants
and each of them have no title to, lien
upon or interest in said premises and
to remove the clouds cast upon plain
tiff’s title by reason of the claims of
said defendants to some title to, lien
upon or interest therein, and to forever
enjoin said defendants and each of
them from asserting any title to, lien
upon or interest in said premises ad
verse to plaintiff.

(10) West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian in Holt county, Nebraska,
which mortgage was duly recorded in
the records of Holt county, Nebraska,
in Book 114 of Mortgages on page
486 thereof oft the 19th day of
August, 1915, by the County Clerk
of said county.
Said mortgage was given for the
purpose of securing one prommis
sory note dated August 4, 1915, due
one year after date for the sum of
$1,000.00.
Plaintiff alleges that for a valuable
consideration he purchased said de
scribed mortgage and note thereby
secured and is now the owner and
holder thereof and that there is due
him on his real estate mortgage and
the indebtedness thereby secured the
sum of $1,148.00 and prays for a sale
of said premises to satisfy said in
debtedness.
You are required to answer said
petition on or beore the 1st day of
July, 1918.
