Notice is hereby given that the un
dersigned will sell at Public Auction
at my residence on Southeast quarter
of Section Nine in Township Twenty
seven, North of Range Twelve, West
of the 6th P. M., on May 1st, 1918, at
one o’clock P. M. of said day, one
black gelding, three years old,one bay
gelding three years old, one brown
mare three years old, one bay gelding
two years old, to satisfy a lien for the
sum of ninety-four dollars being for
the keep of said stock fom the 12th
day of October, 1917, up to date of
sale.
That on the 12th day of October,
1917, one 0. S. O’Neill entered into a
contract with this plaintiff G. W.
Stewart for the care and keep of said
live stock at the rate of one hundred
pound of hay per day for their feed
and to pay the regular price for said
hajr at its nominal price during said
period.
That no proceedings at law have
been had for the collection of the debts
hereby named, nor has any of the
same been paid, and that the same is
justly due and wholly unpaid.

Notice is hereby given that by
virtue of a license granted to the un
dersigned by the District Court of
Holt county, Nebraska, in an action
therein pending entitled: “In the
Matter of the Guardianship of Fritz
Trompeter, an incompetent person,”
on the 18th day of March, A. D., 1918,
said court found that the sale of the
hereinafter described real estate is
necessary:
1. For the payment of the
debts that are now due and owing
by the said Fritz Trompeter, an
incompetent person.
2. For the support and main
tenance of the said Fritz Trom
peter, an incompetent person.
3. That the balance may be in
vested in interest-bearing secur
ities for the benefit of said Fritz
Trompeter, an incompetent person.
And said court duly ordered said

son, to sell at public sale to the high
est bidder the following described
real estate, with all improvements
thereon:

thirty-one (31), township thirty

Nebraska;
For at least one-half of the pur
chase price in cash and the balance to
be paid on or before five years after
said stfle, with interest thereon at
six (6) per cent per annum,!
payable annually; said balance to be
secured by notes and a first mortgage
upon said real estate; or that said
land be sold for cash; and that said
sale will be made on the terms that
are for the best interests of the estate
and that said land be sold either in
one tract or that it be divided and
each quarter sold separately—said
land in either condition to be sold in
the manner that is for the best inter
ests of the estate.
Now, therefore, by virtue of said
lisensc and the authority in me by
law vested, having given bond and
oath required by law, I will offer said
real estate, to wit:

thirty-one (31), township thirty

the Sixth Principal Meridian, in
the county of Holt and state of
Nebraska,
For sale on the 15th day of April,
A. D., 1918, at eleven (11) o’clock in
the forenoon of said day, at the front
door of the court house (that being
the place where the last term of the
District Court of Holt county, Ne
braska, was held) in the city of O’Neill
county of Holt, and state of Ne
braska, at which time and place I will
sell said real estate at public sale
to the highest bidder upon the follow
ing terms, to wit: At least one
half of the purchase price to be paid
in cash and the balance at six (6) per
cent interest per annum payable on
or before five years from the date of
sale; said balance to be secured by a
first real estate mortgage or mort
gages on the above described premises;
or that the entire purchase price be
paid in cash; said land to be offered
first as an entire tract and then each
quarter separately and sold which
ever way is for the best interest of
the estate. Said sale will be kept
open for one (1) hour, where due
attendance at said last mentioned
time and place will be given by the
undersigned.

of Patrick Fahy, Deceased, both heirs

April 10, 1918, Lewis Chapman, filed
his petition in the County Court of
Holt County, Nebraska, alleging that
Patrick Fahy, died intestate in the
County of Dane, and State of Wiscon
sin, seized in fee simple of the follow
ing described real estate situated in
the County of Holt, and State of Ne
braska, towit: Lots Four, Five, Six,
Seven and Eight, in Block K, in Fahy’s
Park Addition to O’Neill, and leaving
surviving him, as his sole and only
heir his son, Paul Fahy. That peti
tioner is the owner of said real estate
by a direct and also a mesne convey
ance from said Paul Fahy.
That the prayer of said petitioner
is: That said Court shall determine
the time and place of the death of said
Patrick Fahy; that he died intestate,
and who are the heirs of said Deceased
and their degree of kinship, and the
right of descent of the real property of
which the deceased died seized,andalso
that creditors be excluded . You are
further notified that said petition will

Pension for Fleda Andrews, Order.
Now, on this 11th day of February,
1918, the above matter came on for
hearing for a renewal of a mother’s
pension heretofore allowed to her at
which hearing W. J. Boyle, Assistant
County Attorney was present and the
following witnesses were examined:
Fleda Andrews, George W. Davies
and Mrs. George W. Davies.
In consideration whereof the court
finds that there should be a renewal
of said pension in the sum of $10 per
month of the minor children, Beulah
Andrews and Mamie Andrews, aged 9
and 7 years respectively, for their sup
port and maintenance.
It is therefore ordered and adjudg
ed by the Court that said Fleda An
drews, the’ mother of said minors be
allowed the sum of $20.00 per month
for a period of six months from the 1st
day of March, 1918, unless this order
shall be sooner revoked or modified by
this Court, and it is further ordered,
that this order be certified to the Board
of Supervisors of Holt County, Ne
braska, as their authority for the pay
ment of said sum of $20 per month to
said Fleda Andrews.
