The above named defendant, James
W. Wagers, will take notice that on
the 8th day of February, 1918, the
above named plaintiff, Citizens State
Bank, of Plainview, Nebraska, filed its
petition in the District Court of Holt
County, Nebraska, against the above
named defendants, the object and
prayer of said petition are to foreclose
a certain mortgage dated January 8,
1917, and executed by the defendants
Percy H. Bell and May M. Bell, his
wife, thereby conveying to the above
named plaintiff, Citizens State Bank,
of Plainview, Nebraska, the Southwest
Quarter of Section 9, in Township 28,
North, Range 9, West of the, 6th P.
M. in Holt County, Nebraska, which
stid mortgage was given to secure the
payment of a certain first mortgage
bond in the sum of $10,000.00, with 14
interest coupons attached, with in
terest thereon at the rate of 5% per
cent per annum from March 1, 1917.
The plaintiff prays for a decree that
the defendants may be required to pay
said amount evidenced by said bond
and interest coupons, or that said
premises may be sold to satisfy the
amount found due. The plaintiff
further prays that its title in and to
the above described premises may be
quieted as against each and all of said
defendants.
You are required to answer said
petition on or before the 15th day of
April, 1918, or said petition will be
taken as true and judgment rendered
against you accordingly.
